We recently sat down with Kat to talk all things Pilates and how to get into a workout routine. As Peaches would say, don’t shrink yourself - own your assets. It's time to get Peachy!

What are your top tips for someone new to Pilates?

That it is for everyone, and you don't need to be "flexible" to do Pilates! All of the moves are modifiable, low impact but also extremely effective (and addictive!). There's nothing quite like that Pilates burn. 

What makes a Peaches class great?

Nothing beats the energy of the studio during a group class, when we're all moving together, listening to a banging Peaches playlist and feeling that signature Peaches burn. 

Your favourite exercise and why?

At the moment I'm loving ab work using the Pilates ball; there's so many different moves you can do and it's a lot of fun.

What would you say are the main benefits of Pilates

Total body toning! I love that Pilates is a form of exercise you can do every day. You don't need to worry about picking up injuries and you can see and feel results after only a few sessions.

What's the best thing about being located in the heart of Cronulla?

I love being in the heart of the community and how everything you need is right here! I especially enjoy having such an amazing choice of coffee shops and being so close to the ocean means there's always an opportunity for a dip between classes.

Tell us a bit more about the different classes you offer?

We of course have lots of Pilates on the timetable, as well as Barre (so much fun!). We also have cardio and strength classes, such as 'Monster Abs', and 'Power' with Pilates principles at the foundation of it all. 

Every single class is different (no boring, repetitive Pilates here) and the majority of our classes are pregnancy safe. 

We also have three Mums n Bubs classes a week, one of my favourite classes to teach because of the bub cuddles!
