So book we did! We took the first-ever BMW iX out for a spin - the brand’s first electric car. Truly, we’ve never met a car we’ve coveted more. With a strong emphasis on lifestyle and comfort, this car is an all-rounder.
Created with a new design language in mind, DETAIL-ORIENTED features are front and centre with driver and passenger top priority.
This all-electric vehicle is ideal for everyday use - we’re talking tight turns in the city - and long-distance journeys (if a road trip is your weakness). Plus! There are numerous charging solutions available with the capacity to travel up to 620km on a single charge.
A minimalist approach has been taken with a majority of controls being replaced with a 14.9 inch centre console display, invisibly embedded speakers and a user-friendly heads up display projected onto the road.
Our favourite details? The Swarovski crystal controls and the panorama glass roof, that transitions from opaque to transparent at the touch of a button.
And that’s not to mention the incredibly striking exterior. We may or may not have had a few envious looks thrown our way. High-tech, minimalist and seamless - what’s not to love?
