The Faces Behind Pulse Property

Meet Ben and Lucas, Founders, Local Dads and Property Gurus

Posted April, 2021

Ben Pike and Lucas Pratt are founders of local real estate agency, Pulse Property. With their larger-than-life Pulse signs proudly displayed across the Shire, we’d be surprised if you didn’t recognise their faces. The boys have been in business for over six years and now have a team of nearly thirty employees, with the most prestigious position, Director of Happiness, appointed to their office dog Hugo.

Ben and Lucas pride themselves on a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of approach and their clients love and respect them for it. Lucas is a third-generation real estate agent with nearly two decades of real estate sales and auction experience and Ben is a fierce negotiator who sells 14% of his properties ‘off market’. With a highly skilled team behind them, Pulse works to achieve the best results with integrity, enthusiasm and open communication always front of mind.

Together you have created Pulse Property Agents. How did this come to fruition?

We love people and property and we wanted to create a brand that was customer-focused and based on developing strong customer relationships, built on honesty and trust. We also sought to create an agency with great reach, one that would attract the best staff in the Shire.

With customers at the heart of Pulse, we’re proud to say that the majority of our sales have come from repeat or referral business.

How long have you been operating in the Shire?

6 years!

Describe the vibe of your team in three words.

Energetic, dedicated, professional.

What is the best ‘I love my job’ moments you’ve both experienced?

Helping families buy and sell properties and ultimately find their dream home. It’s extremely rewarding.

Undeniably knowing the Shire’s suburbs inside out, we were eager to know the boys’ go-to spots.
