Bianchini's always hits the mark when it comes to value-driven dining, and these two new offerings are no different. Come Thursday, snag $1 dumplings starting at 5pm – yes, just $1! There's a six-dumpling minimum per person, but that's hardly a hurdle for us; we dumpling by the dozen. But wait, there’s more! To sweeten the sting of Mondays (universally acknowledged as the week's low point) enjoy $12 Margaritas from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. A cheeky marg on your lunch break? Yes, please.
Greenhouse On Flora, The New Hotspot For A Carb-Fuelled Feast
The Shire’s pasta scene just got a whole lot saucier with Greenhouse on Flora’s new pasta & gnocchi bar, now open on Friday and Saturday evenings. The concept is straightforward: choose your pasta, pick a sauce, and select your cheese. Voila! And for our GF friends – over half the menu is GF to ensure you don’t miss out. Burrata is having a real moment in the cheese world, and we're totally here for it. This ooey-gooey delight, hailing from the Puglia region of Italy, is the perfect and most versatile addition to any dish. With this in mind, Albi’s Taverna has dedicated an entire menu to everyone's favourite cheese. Think Figs & Burrata, Melone with Crispy Nduja & Burrata, Honey Burrata, Burrata & Amarena Cherries, and so much more. Grab A Coffee And Pastry At Your New Local: Bourke St Bakery
Bourke Street Bakery has just opened their second Shire venue, and we couldn't be more excited. Expect a delicious range of sweet and savoury pastries, artisan bread, and sandwiches – all handmade, we might add. The sourdough is a must-try, with unique flavours like hazelnut and raisin, soy and linseed, fig and cranberry or potato and rosemary. Find them at 2/32 Cawarra Road, Caringbah.

If being trapped in a room and trying to break free within a time limit sounds like fun, then the Shire’s newest attraction, Scarborough Fair Escape Rooms, is for you. For just $40 per person, you and up to five friends can throw yourselves into an adrenaline-fueled activity. Join The Surfing Mums Movement
Founded in 2006 by two mums from Byron Bay, Surfing Mums has blossomed into about 40 groups across Australia. These meet-ups are a haven for surf-loving mums to swap water time while their kids enjoy supervised play. For those of us in the Shire drawn to the seaside, there's good news: the Cronulla Surfing Mums group gathers at Wanda Beach every Friday at 9:00am starting April 12th – just spot the yellow CoolCabana. Memberships are $52 yearly, covering insurance, a first aid kit, a member gift, and the group's administrative costs. Interested? You’re welcome to go down and check it out before joining. They provide a shade shelter, but snacks, sunscreen, and hats for your little ones are encouraged. Open to mums of all surfing abilities, including beginners, checking out their Facebook group here for any questions and updates on surf conditions.
