The moment you step through the door at Beauty and Balance you can expect to be nurtured and cared for. You’ll be greeted by neutral interiors and thoughtful details from herbal teas to streams of natural light. Their personalised approach means each treatment is carefully tailored to meet the current needs of the client. Clinical facials like skin needling, resurfacing and peels are up for grabs but if it is your first visit we recommend selecting the Essential Facial which may include a combination of enzyme peel, steam, extractions, LED healing light or purifying clay masks but, of course, will be tailored to a T. Top tip: Add on an infrared sauna sesh for the ultimate experience.

Bliss by Bree is a Shire favourite and for good reason! Bree’s space is chic and inviting with tones of burnt orange, cream and fawn contributing to the warm palette. As for her facials - second to none! Whilst you’ll be thrilled with any treatment you select, our personal fave is the Herba B Peel which guarantees results AND relaxation. Suited to all skin types and conditions, the treatment is deeply massaged into the skin from which the herbs release their active ingredients to feed and nourish. It’s ideal for those experiencing acne, aging skin or scarring, sun damage and/or redness.

French for “the beautiful room”, this luxe space is all about the details. We’re talking softly arched doorways, stone bench tops and warm lighting - all with a distinctly Parisian touch. Just the kind of place we’d be happy to spend an afternoon in. Le Beau’s holistic approach aims to nourish both body and soul so you’ll find plenty of special add ons including reiki. We adore the Wildflower Healing offering that employs natural flower essences to cleanse and refresh. The Glo2Facial is equally as impressive.

This home-based salon is light, bright and serene. Salon owner Nikee is fond of personalising her treatments so you won’t find a one size fits all approach at Clear Skin House. Nikee also stays abreast of all technological advances in the industry, offering a menu of up-to-date treatments. We recommend the Carbon Facial which combines laser/IPL technology and carbon cream to work on skin imperfections like enlarged pores, acne and hyperpigmentation. As the treatment effectively removes the top layer of dead skin, you’ll notice a healthy glow after just one visit. Nothing like some instant results, eh?
