Arriving home after a long day of work, and realising your best mate has no food, is never any fun. Recently, Shire Scout’s biggest furry fan, Cleo, got to experience her own happy mail day, courtesy of Lyka, and her waggly tail and full belly indicate there’ll be no going back.
Cleo has long been a fan of human food (she’s partial to the occasional Malt-O-Milk) so being able to serve her human-grade, Aussie-made meals does a lot to minimise the guilt we feel when chowing down on a steak and salad. Prior to receiving our order, we were able to customise Cleo’s meal plan online, tailoring her meals to her age, breed, weight, activity level and existing health conditions. All of Lyka’s fresh meals have been formulated by co-founder and in-house Integrative Veterinarian Dr. Matthew Muir, alongside a team of Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionists.
Got a senior citizen? Lyka has a high omega 3 to omega 6 ratio which helps lower chronic inflammation and reduces the risk of late-onset diseases. Got a puppy? Lyka’s predictive growth algorithm will sort you out by updating your plan based on their changing size and weight.
Our order arrived with easy tracking, packed with ice bricks to keep it cool and with a handy information pack detailing ingredient lists, nutrition panels and a guide on how to transition your pet to Lyka. Cleo, naturally, was all over the Chicken and Fish Bowls.
But for this gal, the real clincher was the add-on treats. She’d have you know that the Chicky Chews go off.
