Barefoot bowls at Club Cronulla is a fab way to celebrate a special occasion with friends. Conveniently located behind the main strip of Cronulla Mall, their two-hour booking slots give you plenty of time to play a few games and enjoy a couple of bevvies. Bowls butlers and eskys on the green are available to make your experience even more swish.

South Cronulla Bowling Club

Located in the quiet suburbs of South Cronulla, this petite club boasts three first glass greens and plenty of parking. Open for barefoot bowls every Friday evening and Saturday (daylight saving months only), you can head down to the club with some friends, grab a few drinks from the bar and enjoy a meal from some of Sydney’s best food trucks.

Taren Point Bowling Club

For a fun, relaxed and budget-friendly afternoon of barefoot bowls head to Taren Point Bowling Club. Their beautifully manicured greens are a treat for your feet. The club also has a fully licensed bar and a variety of catering options to keep you full and happy all afternoon long. A courtesy bus is provided from 10:00am, should you need it. We recommend calling beforehand to secure your spot.

Sylvania Bowling Club

Know for their other venues around the Shire and now found at Sylvania Bowling Club, the boys from JD’s are behind the bistro, serving up an extensive, delicious menu. Along with great food and cocktails, Sylvania Bowling Club offers lawn bowl packages perfect for birthdays, corporate team bonding or just a casual afternoon with mates. Their new outdoor seating area is an added bonus!

Gymea Bowls

Gymea Bowls offers a casual bowling scene and is one of the biggest clubs in the Sutherland Shire. There are three state-of-the-art greens, surrounded by leafy gardens. Best of all, bowls sessions are just $12 per person. Call up before heading over to double-check there is space as this one is pretty popular! For a hearty feed, dig into a mega protein hit at the onsite Gymea Grill.

CLUB KIRRAWEE 

Just a short stroll from Kirrawee station, Club Kirrawee boasts all the 1950s nostalgia you could ever need from an Aussie bowling club. It’s just $12 a session making it a pretty cheap arvo out. They also sling $5 beers between 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturdays so best to get in on a little of that action. Be sure to swing by the Club Grill if you need a little refuelling.
